Text messages from Pickle Pot
Court assignments, scores, and messages from your tournament director for events you register for. Nothing else. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
What we’ll text you
We send four kinds of texts, all tied to an event you’ve registered for. We never send marketing or promotional texts.
The opt-out line appears on the very first text we ever send your number. STOP works on every text we send, whether or not that line is shown.
Play has started
Sent once when your director starts pool play, and again when bracket play starts. Stay near your court after this one.
Pickle Pot: Pool play for 7.5 & below at Fall Classic has started. Stand by, we'll text you your court and opponent. - Reply STOP to opt out
Court assignment
Sent when your match is claimed onto a court. It tells you to go to the court, names your opponents, and links you to your score sheet.
Pickle Pot: Go to Court 3 NOW, your next match has been assigned vs Alex & Sam. Submit your score: playpicklepot.com/s/ab12cd
Score
Sent to both teams once a score is recorded, so you know it landed the way you reported it. A score can record itself if nobody changes it, so this is how you find out either way.
Pickle Pot: Final (7.5 & below division): Alex & Sam def Jamie & Rae 11 to 5.
Tournament director messages
Event-day operational messages (delays, court changes, schedule updates) sent to teams the director selects.
Pickle Pot: Courts 5 and 6 are down; 7.5 & below pool play now starts at 10:15 AM.
How you opt in
There are two ways to opt in: fill out the form on this page, or add your mobile number and check the consent box on your account page at playpicklepot.com/account. The box is never checked for you, and submitting either form without checking it never opts you in.
You’re opted in. Pickle Pot will text you about events you register for. Reply STOP any time to opt out.
How often
Message frequency varies. Texts are tied to events you have registered for: a typical event day is a handful of messages (roughly 3–10) across the day, and nothing between events.
How to stop
Reply STOP to opt out from any Pickle Pot text. You’ll get one confirmation and nothing after that. Reply HELP for help and you’ll get contact information. You can also email [email protected] and we will remove your number. A STOP is handled by your carrier, so it stays in effect until you text START.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Pickle Pot never charges you for texts.
Your number
We use your number only to send the messages described on this page. We never sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else’s marketing. Contact [email protected] with questions or removal requests.
